TURN RIGHT AT THE BIG MANGO TREE
This African pattern has emerged from our project in Uganda, starting in 2009 in collaboration with a local women's cooperative to help women there become self-sufficient.
AThrough our workshops, the women have learned to make their own patterns and to print them on fabric.
Based on the Ugandan women's drawings, depicting their own lives, Livstycket's designers created
"Turn right at the big mango tree."
These were the directions they gave us when we came for the first workshop! We found our way and are proud to show this expression of our work together.
