LIVSTYCKET'S TURKISH DELIGHT
Since 2007 Livstycket has inspired and supported women in Turkey in the cities of Samsun on the Black Sea, Van in eastern Turkey and in Istanbul.
The activities have varied a little but all have aimed towards the women having the opportunities of formal learning as well as of creating with their hands. Activities which in turn strengthen the position of women in the family and in society.
The pattern that the women drew describes some of Turkey's diversity with images both from the past and from modern city life. A pattern that creates recognition and joy, Turkish Delight.
