PEACE BEGINS WITH YOU AND ME
Where does peace begin? Is it the feeling of freedom and mutual respect for others and for their opinions? If the road to peace begins with you and me, then we all have the opportunity to work for freedom and to be part of the peace.
Along with several different artists, Livstycket decorated 12 Tibetan tents and displayed them in the Royal Park of Kunsträdgården in central Stockholm for a few days in November 2007. The tents were covered with messages of peace in 34 languages.
The language patterns were transferred to fabric and the fabric has been made into aprons among other things. Baking delicious chocolate love-muffins and vanilla hearts in an apron covered in messages of peace can be a first step towards a better world.
